Recently, I decided that it was time to upgrade the Shower Head in my bathroom. It has been more than a decade since the last time I bought a shower head. In that time where food technology has brought about incredible amount of variety to the cereal aisle in the grocery store, “Shower-ologists” were busier than ever developing and bringing to market a whole slew of offerings. From jets, to super-soakers, simulated waterfalls and the lot, And, it turns out, not everyone has the same criteria when it comes showering. We had to come up with things we wanted, prioritize the list of needs and take to the shops to find the best option for me and my husband. Our conversation took us from a “hose/spigot” to the “Elephant Washing Shower Head from the show Seinfeld”. The only item we agreed on 100% was water savings. But I must admit, with all the cool new options, I may be compelled to shower more often, so where is the savings in that?!
