merry merry feng shui to you!!
A famous young actress called me for a consultation of her home.
Her home was exquisite, built high over-looking the ocean. Known for her film roles she was an international success. She enjoyed perfect health, a loving relationship, a great relationship with the press, and a stunning future. She moved into her dream palace and within 3 months, her life took a turn for the worse!
A health issue landed her in the hospital. Her long-term relationship with her fiancé ended. Two car accidents, a lawsuit, a loss of coveted film roles and severe financial difficulties followed, She became a tabloid favorite with extremely unfavorable publicity, and depression and conflict became ever present in her life. Co-incidence? Not likely!
After careful inspection of her home, it was quite obvious what was contributing to all of her difficulties. A staircase was near the center of her home. (A staircase, stove, fireplace or bathroom in this area affects the physical and emotional health of the family). A loss of money is also common and residents may become more accident prone). In addition, she had long hallways in her home, known to precipitate negative health issues along the midline of the body if not corrected.
A swimming pool was in her back yard. A water element such as a pool or a fountain placed incorrectly in your backyard literally causes a ‘drowning’ of your reputation! It can cause a loss of finances and additionally, leave you vulnerable to lawsuits. (A simple Feng Shui solution can remedy this situation).
On further inspection, I found that she had a ‘missing area’ in her floor plan. Unfortunately, what was missing was in the area of her home that nurtures relationships (romantic, social, or business). In her case, all were affected. She also did not have a clear view of her street when standing at her front door, leading to ‘missed opportunities’ in her life!
The imbalance of energy in her home was considerable, but I was able to suggest simple Feng Shui solutions to help remedy her situation. She is now back on tract and thriving! She’s on location for the movie of her dreams and has a delicious new relationship in her life! She feels great and her publicity is positive again.
