we don’t die
This is a different type of column, but one I think is very necessary. You may have noticed that there are a lot of people making their transition right now. When I say transition, I don’t mean changing jobs or addresses. I am referring to the biggest transition of all, when we leave our bodies and return to our true home.
That may sound crazy to some, but it is my belief that we are merely renters here on earth. We rent our bodies and take care of them like we own them. We rent our time according to a lease that is pre-planned before we are born. We utilize our time going to “human” school to learn lessons that we need for our spiritual growth. It is my belief that when we finish our “job” here on earth, we pack our ethereal bags and move back to our real home where we are surrounded by a love so profound we might wonder why we ever left.
Are you rolling your eyes? That’s okay. I know that many people do not agree with me. Over the years, I have studied quite a bit about this subject and I would like to offer some of my favorite books which I think can bring about peace of mind to many who fear their own transition, or miss a friend or family member who has already made their journey.
One of my favorite books of all time is called YOUR SOUL’S PLAN by Robert Schwartz. In this book, the author talks about Pre-Birth Planning and why we choose the bad things that happen in our lives. I found this book completely fascinating, and recommend it highly.
WE DON”T DIE, George Anderson’s Conversations with The Other Side by Joel Martin is a great book for those who wonder what happens to our loved ones when they pass. Even
though I read this many, many years ago, it is among my favorites to give to a grieving friend. I have been told time and again that it brought peace and comfort during a difficult time.
Sylvia Browne has a slew of books about LIFE ON THE OTHER SIDE which I gobble up like candy. I resonate so highly to these books, I can’t imagine that they are not true. I have had dreams of my favorite place on the Other Side which is the Hall of Records. Maybe that explains why I love libraries so much and feel so at home surrounded by books.
Perhaps you have had an inexplicable dream that seemed so real you couldn’t believe you were sleeping during the experience. Maybe a family member visited you and gave you a message. Did you dream this? I think not. I believe we visit our real Home during the dream state so as not to be so homesick while here on earth. And I believe that those visits that seem so real are indeed as real as they can be. When we sleep, the veil is thinner so we can jump back and forth between here and there. What a comfort to know that since energy can never die, neither do we.

I just finished reading a book called MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE by Yvonne Perry. This book is a combination of different viewpoints including religious information, personal accounts, and true stories of death, dying, and the afterlife. It’s an interesting read and addresses some difficult situations such as hospice, suicide, and euthanasia. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about the subject, or has a deep fear of what happens next.
