Q – Dear Suzie. I experienced a bit of a problem this week. My kids found my/our box ‘o sex toys. Can you imagine the horror I felt walking into my bedroom and seeing my son holding hot pink fluffy handcuffs and my daughter holding one of my adult toys! They have never found them before and now I don’t know what to do? I hear you are an expert in this area, what would Suzie Do?”

A – Dear Miss. Embarrassed. I hope you are not embarrassed because you own toys. Toys are awesome! Awesome I say! I’m telling you, without toys I would not be the person I am today – nor would I be driving the always amazing Suztoys Mobile but that’s for later.
As for what to do when your kids find your toys…this is actually a very easy problem to solve. When I read your question the first thing that came to mind was a scene from the movie Parenthood that came out in 1989. You should watch it just for the scene in which the family are having dinner and the lights go out. Someone heads off in the dark to find a candle and when they find one a buzzing noise is heard. The lights come back on and the person is holding the mum’s plastic vibe. Someone refers to it as an “Electric Ear Cleaner” but we all know better. Of course the mum is mortified as I am sure you were when you walked into your bedroom and your kids were playing with your toys.
Like I said there is a very, very simple answer to this question – buy a lockable toy box from Suztoys! These boxes feature combination locks and have enough space to store all the bullets, vibes and c-rings you are currently using. It is compact so you can put in under your bed or in a cupboard or under the bathroom sink. What to tell your kids when they find a vibrator – tell them it’s a massager. My daughter is convinced they go under people’s armpits to tickle them. Sure I say! I do not have them for them to see but sometimes when I preparing for a party they may see them and that’s what they think they are – massagers.
