Wonderful advice. Now if I can only remember to take those steps! I do absolutely feel depleted and responsible for everything and it opens the door for people to take away all of my reserves. By the time I get to the weekend I am so tired I just don’t do anything for myself and have no patience for the kids, dogs and housework!!

I’ve always called them emotional vampires myself, and had to leave a few in the dust. You know them when you see them, so RUN!!!!!!

I love that! I totally agree with you about “energy vampires” and your “process” is so easy to do…just about anywhere! I sometimes will say “Forgive them because they do not know” which seems to help, too!
