my chakra is crystal clear!

During the past couple of months I had the good fortune to meet with both Harriette Knight and Elaine Giftos Wright and experience their talents. I first visited with Harriette at her home where she does her healings. Once you enter through her front door, you are aware of how creative this woman is and when you schedule a session with her, you will see what I mean. When I arrived she had me fill out a quick release form and she told me not to discuss our mutual friends or what has been going on with me, since she gets psychic messages during the healing. Just fill out the form and lie down on her “healing bed” and relax for about 30 minutes. She turned off all sounds in area of the house that I was in and told me that the only thing that I might hear, would be her dog going in and out of her doggie door, and that while I was resting, she was going to do the healing which would go where it needed to go on all levels; physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Ok…I can do this! So, 30 minutes later she woke me up. What she didn’t know was that my mind was going crazy. I was trying to come up with a slogan for my new business and I couldn’t rest my mind. Then I had a coughing attack. The kind where you have a tickle in throat and when you try not to cough and it keeps building, and building and finally you cough on and off for the next…who knows how long. I was so aggravated that this happened that I forgot about my slogan and tried to relax myself by thinking of our recent vacation in Hawaii, where I relaxed on a chase lounge on the beach and watched the surfers…the waves….the people walking on the sand….and I finally relaxed. And then it was time to wake up! When I sat up, Harriette asked me how I felt and if I smelled, heard or felt anything during my rest. I told her that my mind was racing while I was supposed to be relaxing and that my coughing attack was really upsetting. I told her that I thought that the scented candles that she had lit were the cause of my coughing and that I also felt like someone was around my head area a couple of times. Well, to make a long healing short…Harriette had me look around the room, and not a single candle was lit…and no scents anywhere! She also knew that I could not stop thinking about my new business and that ideas are filling my head even when I sleep at night and that was the cause of sleeplessness that I was having. She continued to tell me that the choking was really interesting because she saw that in many past lives I had been held back for expressing myself, or celebrated for speaking and once even had my head cut off for speaking my mind….remember…that was in a past life. Harriette went on to tell me about my business success, my life, love, relationships with family and friends and about people that visited me during the session from life beyond. It was a very interesting experience and I am so appreciative to have had it.

My next visit was with Elaine at her recent feng shui workshop. What a treat! I came to Elaine not knowing a thing about feng shui and left excited to experiment in my home and office! Before the workshop, Elaine asked us to bring a layout of our home and nine red envelopes with one dollar bills in each. That got me really curious. I brought my homework and at the workshop, for the next three hours, Elaine told us how feng shui works and how we could incorporate it into our homes and offices to increase love, relationships, money, health, happiness, fame and abundance. I was really enjoying everything she had to teach us until she stared to talk about sinks, drains, toilets (kitchens and bathrooms) and staircases that are in the center of a home can cause serious feng shui problems. They can be very draining on many levels; emotionally, physically, financially! Even a pool placed in the wrong area of your yard can cause problems! Remodeling my home is the last thing on my list of “to dos”! Elaine relieved us by explaining that remodeling was NOT necessary and she taught us some very practical changes that can be made to “cure” the problems. Some of the “cures” might include moving existing things around, placing small mirrors in strategic areas, adding a wind chime or hanging crystal in key areas in your home, or adding a water feature or plants. When I finished with the workshop I ran home excited to make a couple of easy changes and I can’t wait to have Elaine feng shui my home and office. I’ll keep you posted!
