dog gone it….
U-Wash Doggie saved my marriage. I’ll admit it; I have never washed any of my dogs myself. I use a groomer. Since I have been married, I have had to try many “new” things, and this is one of them; occasionally washing our dogs ourselves (Big eye roll from me). I explained to my husband that the reason I didn’t want to wash our dogs in our tub, was because it’s uncomfortable to bend over in the tub and because when the dogs get out of the tub, they run around the house rubbing their wet bodies all over the carpet and furniture. He thought that was ridiculous (big eye roll from him)….. “It’s just water”. I knew I wasn’t going to win this one, but there was no way I was going to wash and comb out a bicheon! I searched for a solution and came across U-Wash Doggie. This place was a dream come true…to me anyway. You can wash your dog in their dog tubs, or you can drop your dogs off and have them professionally groomed. If you choose to do your own wash and dry, they provide you with everything: apron, chain to hold the dog (or cat), shampoo, rinse, brush and a blower. The dog tubs are elevated waist high, so there is no uncomfortable bending over, no red knees and no sore elbows. The water is warmed to a comfortable temperature for your pet and they provide you with a professional air blower to fluff out and dry your dog, just like a professional. If you don’t want to go the “do it yourself” route, their professional grooming is excellent and pain free! I will confess that I have washed my dogs there and it was really fun, but more than often, I drop off my dogs, run some errands, pick them up later in the day and bring them home happy and clean. Now even my husband agrees that it is better to wash them at U-Wash Doggie. Miracles do happen (and no more eye rolls from either of us)!
