Ah the love of bicycling! I have lived vicariously through people for years – the ground they cover in a short period of time – they have their own lane – they have those cool baskets to pick up a bit of groceries from the market and look quite sporty doing it! I on the other hand am a stationary bike person – yearning to go pro . So until they have some sort of coaching for “adult-learn-to-bike” class at the Y, or have a way to put mattresses out to cover the parking lots, where I anticipate I would learn, or have a “traction-away” spray that I could put all over my body, I will pine after those reflectors – those cool Huffy’s and those nifty rear-view clips for your helmets. And do my part to promote Bike-safety – and try not to cringe in fear, when my hubby is teaching my boy to ride his bike – because one day – that boy may be teaching me!
