We all know that eating well, combined with exercise will help us become healthier and fit.  So why is it so hard for us to do?  Tami has a program that examines just that.  She will write about low glycemic foods and new ways of eating and she will introduce us to exercise that we just may like!

 Tami has been in the fitness industry since 2001. Her certifications include group exercise, personal training, kickboxing, youth fitness, and senior fitness, and lifestyle coach, to name a few.

To date Tami has taught classes at traditional gyms, women- only gyms, the senior center and offers in-home personal training. Tami has successfully run a “Fit Kids” program, been highlighted and published in several magazines, been a guest host on KHTS radio, including, the Fitness Hour with Ellen Como. She also sits on the board of the Health Care Committee through the SCV Chamber of Commerce.

Her most recent venture has been opening her own gym called “Club 50 Fitness”. And well, you guessed it; it is designed for men and women 50 and better. Tami’s helped 100’s of people begin an exercise program, offered personal training to those who wanted more, and taught weekly weight loss classes. Tami became fascinated with the weight loss program that she was offering at the gym, and began to do more and more research on eating low glycemic foods. She eventually authored the book “How to Lose Weight without Being on a Diet, For Women”

Tami now offers in-home personal training and virtual coaching by phone. The phone coaching is a dynamic way to get the results you are looking for.  The tools given in her program are not just what to eat and how to move but, give you what you need to stop sabotaging yourself so you have lasting results.     You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.

    Thanks for your comment Dee. I’m not exactly sure what you meant, I did mean to say that health and fitness is a state of mind, and what I do, is help people get there…We all want to look and feel our best and often join gyms or weight management programs only to find ourselves back to our old habits just several weeks in… I show you why , and guide you into the right frame of mind and teaching the right foods and exercise so you succeed long term. I “hold the hand” of my clients so they for lasting results so they never have to diet again. Call me if you want to talk more.
