mom necessity

Mother’s Day! I am blessed that this is my Eighth Mother’s Day complete with construction paper cards and breakfast in bed. I am also humbled that this is my second Mother’s Day without a mom to call. So as last year – we are donating can goods to the local food pantry. This week I was driving down McBean Parkway with the windows down singing to my favorite driving CD – Billy Joel. Loudly. I noticed the hatchback to my left had its windows down too.
